Health and Human Rights Info makes practical information and materials on health and human rights more accessible. Our focus is on material, information, resource literature and manuals in relation to psychological and psychosocial aspects of health and human rights. Our aim is to bring together information and experiences from and to health workers and people engaged in psychosocial assistance in contexts of political unrest, wars, and situations with severe human rights violations. Our objective is to disseminate knowledge about the effects of human rights violations on health, particularly on psychological health, on individual as well as community level. We want to

  • Distribute information about treatment methods and psychological care.

  • Contribute to the development of psychological interventions, both on the individual and the community levels.

  • Assist professionals within health and psychosocial assistance in finding useful information.

  • Provide professionals with training materials and guidelines that may be useful in situations of education, supervision and professional encounters.

This website contains a database with links to selected materials, divided into five categories as listed in the upper left-hand menu. Further down this page you can search all five categories. All links in the database point to freely available materials that have been reviewed by experts and found useful. The database is continuously updated and reviewed. If you would like to suggest additions to the database, or if you have other comments, please contact us.
