Baseline Study: stamping out and preventing gender based violence (STOP GBV) in Zambia - Research reports and studies
Fiona Samuels, Phillimon Ndubani, David Walker and Joseph Simbaya
Gender-based violence (GBV) in various forms is commonplace in Zambia. Demographic Household Survey (DHS) data indicates that from the age of 15 years onwards almost half of all Zambian women have experienced physical violence, and a third had experienced physical violence in the 12 months preceding the survey. This study provides a baseline to measure programme results, impact and long-lasting change at the end of the STOP GBV Programme.
