Rights of the Child in Ethiopia

Report Concerning the Application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. OMCT regrets that the Ethiopian authorities have failed to supply information of importance in their report, particularly concerning the de facto ill-treatment or torture of children and de jure protection and penalties applied to officials or agents of the State responsible for violations perpetrated against children, conditions in which children are detained.
